I come to France for less than a year
We offer you a “1st euro” insurance. It is a type of private insurance that will cover all of your medical expenses. Depending on your professional status, you will benefit from personalized insurance.
This includes coverage for hospital costs, visits at the general doctor, pharmacy, optical and dental costs, medical repatriation and civil liability.
You are also insured in the event of COVID-19.
I student and I come to France for less than a year
If you are a student, you will benefit from a special insurance for studies and internships in France.
This includes coverage for hospital costs, visits at the general doctor, pharmacy, optical and dental costs, medical repatriation and civil liability.

I come to France for longer than a year or I am already in France
- I have a “Carte Vitale” (inscribed in the French public healthcare)
You can benefit from a complimentary health insurance, called “mutuelle” to supplement social security reimbursements.
The French healthcare system doesn’t cover entirely the health expenses (only around 70%). It is therefore necessary to have a complimentary health insurance to be better reimbursed.

- I don’t have a “Carte Vitale”
You can subscribe to a “1st euro” insurance. This type of private insurance covers all of your medical expenses from the 1st euro spent.
With this insurance you are covered in the event of accident or illness (including COVID-19)
